Hard Anodized?
The only thing hard about this drain plug is how hard it is going to be to remove it! I decided that when I changed my oil this last time I would order a new drain plug. This one seemed to be a good choice. Nope. When I applied the torque wrench and started to tighten it stripped out the Allen hole in the plug. I never had an issue with 5 he old one that I replaced. The only reason I replaced it was the magnetic properties of the new plug. Hope I can get it out at next oil change!

Spare part
Ordered as a spare. The old one being a soft aluminum alloy, appeared to be on its way to being wore out. The price is worth the convenience of having it on hand for the next oil change.

Worth It
Inexpensive OEM replacement. Worth replacing this item every several oil changes. Especially if the hex hole starts to strip out.
