Nice Solution to the Original
Nice upgrade to the original nylon stuff. I can't add anything the other guys haven't already covered.

Good fit
These bronze bushings went in easy and fit just right. The hardest part is getting the new roll pin installed. Plus you can't beat the price.

To it & do it right
If its a job you've got to do then these are what you need, no messing around with plastic ones! Fitment is always a bit of a fiddly job for pedal bushings but with these you do it once & won't have to do it again. Great parts, perfect fit with easy to follow instructions.

Great upgrade!
This really is a great kit, and it's important to note that it includes everything you need. There are bushings for the accelerator pedal and for the clutch clevis. I only had two problems: first was the roll pin, which is the hardest job I've ever done on the whole car, second was that the clutch cable clevis bushing is just a touch small, when installed it is too tight for the clevis pin - but a bit of time with a file took care of that. Overall it's a great and very complete kit, and installation is a snap with the exception of the roll pin.

Re-Bush Pedal Cluster
These Bronze Bushings are the nuts.Kit went in with no problems, very good fitment.Having a vise, small punch & ball peen hammer does the trick.Kit has Pedal Shaft bushing as well, did not know this and picked one up seperately,no biggie.

Squeaks be gone!
The bushings kits certainly made my pedal assembly quieter and, combined with a new clutch spring, removed excessive play. However, my mechanic (first time to conduct this repair) stated the task was harder for him than replacing the clutch.

I hope this kit also fits my 1991 Turbo, but at this price, it is a good gamble.

good product
The bushing kit was high quality, I only needed to add 1 cotter pin to complete the job. The old roll pin came out easily, just bang away with a punch and hammer. Note that the pin comes out easier if you pound it out the opposite of which it was installed. The pin on my car was not hammered in flush and had about an 1/8" protruding out of the pedal. I supported the pedal on a deep socket and pushed out the pin into the socket opening. Installation of the pin was harder, I started the pin in a vise, but my vise was not strong enough to force the pin in very far. I improvised an anvil out of a block of steel, set the pin on the anvil and hammered the pedal down to seat the pin completely into the pedal. That was easier than trying to hit the pin with a punch.Another set of hands would of helped to hold the pedal assembly while you pound the pin in. My old bushings were non exsistant, just a few pieces of yellowed nylon still in place. The clutch feel is like new, replacing the bushings got rid of a clutch chatter I had been unable to trace.I think my teeth look whiter too. The tech article was good, I think it is easier than the level 4 difficulty, more of a 2 or 3.

I don't know if the left hand pedal box is different to a right hand with regard to the throttle rod linkage as the designated bushes did not fit my 1984 Carrera (RHD). The remaining bushes in the kit did fit,but were a touch slack in the housings,in my opinion. Having said all that I am pleased with the difference replacing the plastic bushes has made, the pedals now return as they should.

This even helps the car shift better
This pedal bushing kit was great! I purchased this kit because the brake pedal was so loose that the brake light switch would not work properly. This fixed that problem, and more, all the stock bushings were shot. The brakes require much less pedal travel, the clutch action is so improved that the car shifts much better (it was having issues going into second gear cleanly even after replacing the sycro's). This kit is very well priced, do not delay replacing bushings if you pedals are sloppy!

very high quality essential item!
man, what a difference. I had to take the pedal assembly to the machine shop to get the crusty clutch arm removed ($47 labor well worth it). Got it back and back in the car and it shifts/brakes/throttles like a new car now- vast improvement over stock.
Also $40 cheaper than the bronze bushing kit available locally! Great value!
