The Porterfield R4-S compound is the perfect solution for those drivers who see a fair bit of track time but also drive their cars on the street. The R4-S compound is renowned for being very progressive and easy to modulate on the street while still providing desirable heat characteristics on the track. Also, the R4-S compound has exceedingly low noise and dust levels, far below OEM equipment or any other high performance brake material. Pick up a set today and start realizing your braking system's true potential!
Original brake lines are rubber and can expand under the normal pressure of use. This expansion of the brake line negatively affects the brake caliper piston travel, and makes for mushy pedal feedback.
UUC's Stainless Steel Brake lines are used to "performance tune" your braking system.
Inner Teflon line is covered with woven stainless steel braid that will not expand under pressure. The advantages include better brake pedal feedback and a firmer pedal, along with superior brake modulation. Results will be immediate.
fully compliant with DOT Standards (MVSS-1006)
lines burst-tested to 6000psi (maximum tested pressure from a BMW braking system is 1200psi)
Teflon inner line covered with a woven layer of stainless steel and covered in an abrasion-resistant material (translucent blue plastic covering).
plastic end pieces protect assembly, no exposed steel fibers to stick fingers.
Speed Bleeders are the latest innovation in bleeding your brakes! Speed Bleeders use a check valve built into the unit to allow both air and fluid in the brake system to flow only one way, preventing it from re-entering the system. Once installed, bleeding your brakes becomes a one-man operation. Each package includes 2 bleeders.
