I have a 71 914 with some alloys on them. At first I thought they were Mahles but then I saw a photo of some pedrinnis which looked like what was on mine. Can anyone tell me how I can tell the difference? Cause everytime I looked at each wheel I can't tell which is which.

The Pedrini rims have four ribs running all the way to center of the rim and four short ribs running up to the bolt holes. The Mahle rims have eight equal length ribs running up to approximately the bolt holes. The Pedrini rims where offered on four-cylinder cars from '70 to '73. The Mahle rims where available on later models.

Hi there. We've got some pics on our site to help you out. This car has Pedrinnis:

And this one has Mahles:
