fcoolbreezeComments: I'm looking for 245/50/15 tires to fit the rear. Dunlop quit making them in 15's. They are 9's n 11's wide

Followup from the Pelican Staff: These have been unavailable for a while. You can take a set of racing tires and have treads cut into them, or you can upgrade to 16" wheels, which are still available (but also getting harder to find). - Wayne at Pelican Parts
SteveComments: I have a stock 1974 914. Right now I have 165/60/r15 tires. What is the largest tires I can install with out rubbing?

Followup from the Pelican Staff: it depends. I don't exactly remember what I had on my 914 before I put flares on it. I think they might have been 185s or 195s - Wayne at Pelican Parts
LeandroComments: Hi,
I have 69 911t with stock body. I just bought 7X16 for my rear and 6X16 for my front. What size of tires do I need?

Followup from the Pelican Staff: Check with the 911 Forums for suggestions, as different manufacturers have variations amongst different sizes, and the clearances will be close on that combination in your car. I normally don't recommend running 16s on the early cars as they often rub. - Wayne at Pelican Parts
