Replace outside mirror light bulbs

Replacing the outside mirror glass is a super easy job. Over time, the elements can cause the mirror glass to crack. Additionally, the heating element in the glass can stop functioning, causing problems when the mirrors are fogged up. Here's how you replace the glass panels.

Use a long screwdriver in between the mirror housing and the glass (green arrow) to carefully pry the glass off the motor assembly.

Once the glass is removed, pull the plastic guides (green arrows) off and transfer them to the new glass.

Once the glass is removed, pull the plastic guides (green arrows) off and transfer them to the new glass. Make sure the orientation is correct. Also pull the electrical connections off the glass (yellow arrow) and transfer them to the new glass. All that's left is to pop the new glass onto the motor and you're done.
