One often overlooked wear item on your car is the wiper blades. This is one of those things that can easily ruin your day if the weather suddenly turns bad. Replacement of the blades is very easy and should take no longer than 15 minutes.

If you live in a wetter climate, such as the Pacific Northwest, then you'll understand the importance of wiper blades that work well. It is easy to overlook the condition of your wipers if you live in a dry climate, such as Southern California. If running the wipers just streaks the windshield, it's time for new blades.

Lower quality blades tend to dry out or crack quicker than quality ones. I personally use Bosch premium blades on all my cars. They are more expensive, but they last longer and do a nicer job of keeping the water off the windshield.
