The service interval light/messages are used to remind you of upcoming service that needs to be performed on the car, such as an oil change. This light is triggered by the odometer when it reaches a certain number. This usually results in a "Service Now" message illuminating on the instrument cluster. The light should be reset after performing the appropriate service on the car. The procedure is easy and should take less than five minutes.

With the car turned off, press the button on the instrument cluster (green arrow) and hold it in.
