Replace rear tail light bulbs

Removing the rear bumper cover on the Porsche Cayenne is relatively easy and should take no more than an hour. The procedure does require you to remove both rear taillight assemblies. Refer to our article on changing light bulbs for more information. One thing I've found to be helpful when removing bumper covers is to wash the underside a day or two before removal. This tends to prevent any dirt or loose gravel that may have collected up underneath from spilling down on you.

Shown here is the rear bumper cover (green arrow) on your Porsche Cayenne.

Now remove the four T25 Torx bolts (green arrows) holding the bottom edge of the bumper cover to the chassis.

Its helpful to have a helper around to hold the other side of the cover as you pull it off the chassis.
