Not Bad for $1000!!!

Comments and Suggestions:
DrThrillerComments: Great job. I am also planning on doing the same job, just different color scheme. My question is, I've already pulled out most of the carpet and all of the leather panels, except the rear side panels. For some reason I can't get them out, I know I'm probably not following the right procedure, could you please help??. Also I am reusing the same panels, just cleaning them and putting in new carpet, so with that in mind, can I keep the rear side post material in place or does that have to come out to install the carpet?. Thanks

Followup from the Pelican Staff: I'm pretty sure that the bottom carpet pieces tuck under the side panels, but you should be able to tell by looking at your original carpet as well. - Wayne at Pelican Parts
spikeComments: I was wondering where you got the black carpet with the Porsche crest for the backseat fold down? Is this one piece stapled on to both seat backs or a cover over top of them? What is the cost for just this piece & who is the contact / site? Other colours?

Followup from the Pelican Staff: I'm pretty sure these used to be available about a decade ago (when this article was written), but now they are no longer available. - Wayne at Pelican Parts
CYRIL LAMBComments: HAVING VIEWED THE RESTORATION OF THE INTERIOR WHICH I AM ABOUT TO COMPLETE ON A 1981 PORSCH 911 SC TARGA I AM INTERESTED IN THE PART THAT FITS UNDER THE UNDER THE DASH AND SHOW THE AIRVENTS AND AIRCON CONTROL KNOBS. PLEASE ADVISEAS TO WHERE THIS CAN BE PURSCHASED AND CONSIDER THAT I AM IN SOUTH AFRICA AND THEREFORE WOULD HAVE TO IMPORT.

NewfieMZ3Comments: Wondering if you can comment on an issue I may be facing. I am looking at a 1984 carerra, the car is very solid but the leather dash has shrunk, as usual, it has pulled away from the windshield area and the AC vent. Is it possible to remove the dash, and windshield too I suspect, and rewrap with the original covering, or does it usually require a new covering. What kind of effort is involved in such a repair , what can I expect to have fixed? Any comments greatly appreciated.

Followup from the Pelican Staff: Yes, very possible and doable. Don't remove the seal from the windshield though - remove it as a complete assembly. - Wayne at Pelican Parts
SilComments: Hi, excellent craftsmanship, can you share contact info for the supplier of the floor coverings?

Thanks...where yo

Followup from the Pelican Staff: I believe that the carpet kits are the same ones that we carry in our Interior section of our catalog: http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/911M/POR_911M_INTmat_pg1.htm- Wayne at Pelican Parts
