Tom currently lives in Manhattan Beach, CA. Tom grew up around Porsches,
Volkswagens and BMWs. They were always the family cars. Tom's been an active
Porsche club member for over twenty years. His first exposure to a Porsche was
when he was very young, when his Dad bought his first of his four Porsches, a 1963
356C. Tom's biggest obsession revolves around organizing and participating in rallies in the Southern California area. He was the PCA zone 8 rally chairman for over ten years. He's won the PCA national rally championship twice, in 1982 and 1997, and placed in the second or third position all the other times that he has competed. Tom was born and raised in Newport Beach, near the heart of Southern California. He has a eight year old daughter named Lisa, who enjoys riding in both the 356 and the '61 bug, which may eventually become her own.
