Great for OEM coupler but too long for PSJ
This matches the one from the OEM coupler perfectly, including having the nylon lock patch on the threads.

However I bought this for the Wevo PSJ (a great product BTW!) The PSJ has a thinner collar and shorter thread depth, so to use this set screw, you have to grind or cut off half or more of the cone on the end, else it won't seat in the threads. Not a huge deal but good to know if you're buying this for an aftermarket coupler like the PSJ.

Removing slack from 911 gearshift
Although the new screw was totally different to the scew fitted to my original coupling, it didnt matter as I was fitting a new coupling along with the new screw. Fitting was easy as I has read the technical features on the Pelican pages Regards Rhys

critical item
Keep several of these in your tool box.... The best practice is to only use them once. Try to rememeber to get little stuff like these each time you order something big. When you install make sure you don't over tighten and if you need an x.5 mm hex remember it. If the hex strips you are in big trouble. Another reason that loctite is not the best option for this critical item.

Good
Works well and a plastic bubble in the cone is used to lock the screw.

Bushings, etc for 915 trans
I replaced the ball cup & shift rod bushings, cone screw in one shot. All parts arrived quickly, were straight forward to install and worked as intended. Note: I also replaced the shift coupler (from Ed, the Coupler Whisperer) as part of this project. None of my bushings were in bad shape, but I did notice some improvement in shifting. The worst part of the installation was removing my center console.

will not work with out it
One Can not rebuild the linkage with out these
Bottom line the car shifts like new. One does not realize how bad the linkage was until it is replaced What a difference!
