Lots of sanding required, but i have a nice snug fit. When it operates (e.g "pops") the o-ring dislodges and i have to go into the airbox and reposition it. My old one never did that. I replaced the entire airbox, hence the new unit.

No Template, No Instructions
No instructions sent. I called PP and they replied that this does not come with instructions. So NO template, NO instructions.....Description also says this is for CIS, but only for 78 and later, I have 76 911S and believe it is needed but not sure
Followup from the Pelican Staff: We apologize. The manufacturer stopped including the instructions for this product in their packaging. We will update our website. For those of you who need the instructions, you can download them here:

Instructions specify a 2" hole saw but the valve is 2-1/16" OD. 2-1/8 hole saw is available to yield 1/32 of glue/epoxy gap. Instructions list glue as included with valve but that is not correct. No glue included so you are on your own at the adhesive section of the home store. Instructions are in dire need of revision. Gave it a 3 because of outdated instructions.
