Restored Rear "L" Calipers for 1965-68 (Solid Rotor) 911/912, (pair)

The L-Caliper was the first rear caliper to show up on a 911. This one is very similar to the legendary 356 rear caliper. In fact, the early 911ís had the 356 calipers on them. later L-Calipers still used various ďpartsĒ off the 356 caliper. Itís not uncommon to see 356 caliper nose sections attached to a standard L-Caliper back 1/2ís.

Complete restoration for the early 911 L-Caliper includes:
  • Complete disassembly to bare core
  • removal of stuck or frozen pistons
  • Replating of caliper cores
  • Replating of all fasteners
  • Vibratory polishing of pistons
  • Cleaning and repainting piston tops
  • New factory ATE seals and dust covers throughout
  • Reassembly with pistons in proper position
Your calipers will look like the day they came off the factory assembly, probably better!
