Restored Rear 914-6 Calipers, (sold as a pair, must send your 914-6 calipers in to be restored)

They don’t get much more rare than this! With only 3,300 914-6 models built between 1970 and 1972, this is probably one of the rarest calipers known to exist. The 914-6 caliper only “looks” similar to the 914-4 caliper. The resemblance is where the similarity ends. These have larger 38mm pistons and a larger FMSI D31 pad size.

Complete restoration of the 914-6 calipers includes:
  • Complete disassembly to bare core
  • Removal of stuck or frozen pistons
  • Replating of caliper cores
  • Replating of all fasteners
  • Vibratory polishing of pistons
  • Cleaning and recoating piston tops with high-temp paint
  • New seals and dust covers throughout
  • New inner adjuster gear cover
  • Reassembly with pistons in the proper position
Your calipers will look like the day they came off the factory assembly line, probably better!
