Shock Absorbers and Struts |
One of the most important elements of your complete suspension package are shock absorbers. With both front and rear shocks, you should always replace them in pairs in order to maintain balance between the left and the right suspension.
How do you know when you need new shocks? Simple: if you stand on each corner of the car (on the bumper), and jump off, then the car should spring back up to a level and remain there. If the car begins to oscillate or bounce around, then chances are that your shocks are shot, and need replacement. The procedure is simple, and can be accomplished in a few hours. |
