The Durametric software is loaded onto your PC and is capable of reading and resetting the different modules in the car. The Durametric tool is different from the OBD2 products on the market: OBD2 was created for emissions-related problems and covers a limited subset of your car's engine. The Durametric tool works on many systems (depending on the year of the car), including DME, airbag, ABS, Tiptronic, Alarm, Seat Memory, and Heating and A/C. This product communicates with your car just like the factory tool does. You can do things like reset service reminders, read and clear diagnostic trouble codes, display actual values, show ECU information, and turn off the airbag light.
