The system consists of a base module that attaches to the frame of the car, and follows the door frame around so that you can easily get in and out. The system also includes the two supports that run over the top of the roof. The second part of the system is the integrated modules that attach to the roof rack. Designed specifically for a surfboard, skis, or bicycle, these attachments will fit perfectly on your 996. The bike attachment fits almost all bicycles, contains tension locks for frame diameters of up to 2.56 inches, two adjustable wheel holders, and also features an additional securing cable. A twin lock set can also be separately ordered. Also available is an aerodynamic roof-mounted box for extra storage on those long weekend getaways.
