Transmission Drain Plug Removal Tool |
| The large 17mm hex key nut as both the filler and the drain plug for the transmission. You need this tool to easily drain and refill your transmission oil on the 924S/944. The tool is designed to fit on a 1/2 or 3/8 inch socket wrench, and can be used for a variety of other reasons too. |

| This part, unfortunately, often breaks apart with age and fails, causing the car to shake like an LA earthquake. The automatic transmission sends out vibrations that are dampened by the flex disc. As the disc deteriorates, it is longer able to dampen the vibrations, and the car will begin shake. Although expensive, this disc is necessary to keep the automatic transmission cars from shaking themselves apart. |
