Radiator Hoses |
The older 928s are now decades old, and with that there are bound to be some leaking and bursting of older water hoses. Inspect your car's hoses for cracks and leaks on a regular basis. Also, if the hoses get hard and brittle, it is time to replace them. New hoses will be pliable, and should be able to be easily squeezed by your hand.

| Things getting a little hot in your engine compartment? Perhaps you need a new radiator. Keeping your Porsche cool is one of the best things that you can do to prolong engine life. These radiators are brand new and will give your car added life when installed. You should install a new radiator if your old one leaks, or if you find that there is something clogging it. Note that 944s made before 2/85 will need the adapter hose to fit to the later style radiator. |

Radiator Fans and Motors |
| Busted fan motors can lead to overheating cars. Check your fan motor by applying 12V to it and seeing if it turns. Very often, you don't need to replace your motor, but need a new thermoswitch instead. |
