| The torque converter is somewhat like the clutch in a manual transmission. The converter flange is a disc that insulates the car from vibration in the drivetrain. If your automatic 928 is vibrating excessively, then you might need to replace this disc. |

| Loose transmission mounts can cause vibration in the drivetrain, and cause plenty of other things to vibrate loose. Check your mounts when you get a chance to crawl under the car, and replace them if they are loose. Faulty transmission mounts can also affect your shifting. |
