Hot Start Relay Kit |
| Get that hot date off to the right start; don't get stranded by your poor starting system. Bypass the troublesome ignition switch and install a hot start relay that will send current directly to the starter. This problem is sometimes caused by breakdowns in the 928 wiring which cause the resistance in the system to increase. | Relays are a very common source of failure in the 928. There are several different relays used on the 928. All are subject to failure after many years of service. Before suspecting your wiring or your components, be sure to check your relays. It is wise to have at least some spares on hand so that you can check proper operation of the ones that are installed in your car. |
