Craneฎ XR3000 Ignition |
| XR3000 is the high performance version of the XR700. It also is 50 States Legal and very easy for the DIY to install with immediate results. The most obvious benefits are: All new status LED light for easy diagnostics, 150% greater spark gap energy over stock points ignition, Uses a high output coil without ballast resistor and an Optical trigger for precise ignition timing accuracy. This kit converts points type distributor to electronic ignition and is fully sealed for protection from dirt, moisture and vibration. SMT (Surface Mount Technology) is utilized for reduced size and greater reliability at the same time offers Short circuit protection. NOTE: LX91 E-coil is recommended for use with this kit as the Bosch Blue coil has an internal ballast resistor which cannot be used with the XR3000 ignition. | MSD CD Ignition Unit |
| The MSD-6200 unit helps increase performance by triggering multiple sparks over the combustion period. Standard ignition systems fire a single spark that must propagate across the swirling gases in the combustion chamber. The MSD-6000 unit fires many sparks continuously across the 20 degrees of crank angle rotation in order to provide complete combustion within the chamber. HP increases of at least 10 percent can be achieved simply by installing this unit. The MSD-6420 comes with an adjustable rev limiter adjustable in 200 rpm increments. Perma-Tune CD Ignition Units |
| The Perma-Tune CD units are a great replacement for the stock 914-4 ignition system. When installing a Perma-Tune unit, make sure that you also install a new Bosch blue coil. The Perma-Tune units are also available with or without coil circuitry built-in. Having the circuitry built-in to the box increases performance, efficiency, and ignition system reliability. |

Deep Sump Kits |
| Worried about not getting enough oil when cornering. Installing a deep sump kit on your engine could solve this problem. Pelican gives you two choices, aluminum-finned deep sump or the Weltmeister Oil Trap "the tuna can" will help to cool the oil as well. Warning: installation of the deep sump kit makes the bottom of the engine hang lower, making the bottom of the engine more prone to damage from speed bumps and curbs. If the sump is struck from below, it will damage the engine case beyond repair. |
