Transmission Mounts  |
| We have never seen a set of original transmission mounts that are not cracked. Worn mounts will cause sloppy shifting, and also cause the drivetrain to shift when accelerating. Replacement is an easy job and can be performed in about an hour. We currently have 3 options for replacing your transmission mounts. The stock mounts offer a good, although expensive solution that will keep your car original. The sport mounts are 911-style motor mounts that are a direct and less expensive substitute for the original mounts (Pelican Recommended). Finally, the solid transmission mounts are super stiff and will not wear out over time. For more info, check out our Pelican Technical Article, 914 Shifting Improvements. |
