| Porsche no longer produces the 914 center console, but the aftermarket is now producing an excellent reproduction. It is just like the original, except the wood is a little thicker. There are three 2-1/16" cut-outs for VDO gauges (gauges not included). Requires a different heat control lever (has bent screw-on knob) that is, unfortunately, no longer available. |

Shifter Boots and Knobs |
| One of the easiest ways to renew your car's interior is to replace tired, faded or cracked shift boots. In the 914, there were two shift boots available. For cars without the appearance group option, there was a simple rubber boot on the floor. The appearance group cars got the center console with the leather shift boot. Both of these boots are easily replaced in a matter of minutes. |
