Valve Covers

Replace your leaky, warped original valve covers with new original valve covers. New valve covers will make everyone think that you have a brand new engine in your 914! Well, maybe...

Valve Cover Gaskets    Camera Pic

These gaskets should be replaced every time that you adjust your valves. You should also put a little gasket sealer on the inside of the cover where the gasket mounts to the cover. This should prevent the oil leaks that sometimes occur when there isn't a really good seal. Buy an extra pair or thirty to have on hand next time you adjust your valves!

Cylinder Heads    Camera Pic

Rebuilding your motor? Need a valve job done on your head? Whether you need a bare 2.0L head, or one rebuilt with new valves, springs, and guides, Pelican Parts can help. We also usually put new seats into heads (especially 2.0L heads) because they so often drop out after years of use. Choosing not to install new seats in your heads may result in the type of damage seen in the Pelican Technical Article, Rendezvous With a Dropped Valve Seat. Contact us if you have any questions. Core charges may apply to rebuilt heads.
