Deep Sump Kits

Worried about not getting enough oil when cornering. Installing a deep sump kit on your engine could solve this problem. Pelican gives you two choices, aluminum-finned deep sump or the Weltmeister Oil Trap "the tuna can" will help to cool the oil as well. Warning: installation of the deep sump kit makes the bottom of the engine hang lower, making the bottom of the engine more prone to damage from speed bumps and curbs. If the sump is struck from below, it will damage the engine case beyond repair.

Oil Sump Screens

Check your oil sump screen to see if there is any dirt or debris caught inside. These are difficult to clean, and are easily replaced. Warning: do not over tighten the oil sump strainer plate. Doing so will permanently damage your case and cause oil leaks, and early deterioration of your motor.

Mainely Oil Sump Plates

The original Porsche sump plate on your 2.0, 2.2, 2.4, 2.7, 3.0, 3.3 is currently No Longer Available (NLA) through PCNA, and the updated sump plate replacement currently has No Drain Plug Provision. Don't you hate having to remove the entire sump plate every time you change your oil? You no longer have to! These oil sump plates are manufactured using the latest CNC milling machines from solid 6061 aluminum billet. This precision machining process gives these sump plates extra strength and rigidity to help prevent oil leaks. The additional surface area gained with the unique fin design also helps to keep your engine oil cooler. Please check your vehicle first to make sure you still have an original factory oil strainer for this kit to fit. Kit includes new gaskets, magnetic drain plug with sealing ring, studs and lock nuts.

Get in with the flow of things and replace your old, worn out pump with a factory original, or opt for the Heavy Duty Oil Pump which delivers more oil at higher pressures.
