Tail Light Lenses  |
| The 914 rear lenses are available in two styles, USA and European. The USA lenses are all red with white for the backup light. The European lenses are a combination of red and amber. Photo shows a European lens. In France, the rear backup lamp was yellow. |

License Plate Light Assemblies |
| Are your old license plate lights missing or damaged from being installed incorrectly? Want to make sure the highway patrol officer can clearly read your plate when he writes up that ticket? Replace them with original new ones. Tech Tip: The 70-74 license plate lights must be installed with the positive lead attached to the terminal that is not connected to the housing. If this is not done, then there will be a short between ground and +12V through the metal strip in the bumper rubber. This is what commonly causes the license plate light lens to melt. |
