Caliper Plugs |
| Most cars are missing these small brake caps which protect the adjustment screws from the outside environment. In fact, a number of owners don't even know that they are supposed to be there. Our replacement caps for the inside of the caliper are made of steel whereas the original ones were aluminum and often stripped when an attempt was made to remove them. |

Master Cylinders |
| Are your brakes feeling a bit spongy? Feel like the pedal is pressing into a large vat of cottage cheese? It may very well be that your master cylinder is worn out. The seals inside the master cylinder age with time, and let fluid leak past when compressing. At the same time that you are replacing your master cylinder, you should upgrade to the more powerful 19mm unit from the Porsche 911. This is a direct replacement for 914 models with no modifications necessary. For cost-conscious consumers, rebuild your own with our rebuild kits. For detailed instructions on replacing your master cylinder, be sure to check out our Pelican Technical Article, Replacing your 914 Master Cylinder. |

Master Cylinder Feed Lines |
| Keep your master cylinder from getting thirsty! These are the lines that connect the reservoir to the master cylinder. Sometimes these get worn or damaged when replacing your master cylinder, resulting in air getting into the master cylinder. Replace them if you think that they might be leaking or damaged. |
