Pelican Super-Kit Complete Clutch Package

Need all the parts for your 1977-86 911 clutch job? We've got them all assembled right here for you in our Pelican Parts Clutch Super Kit. This kit contains every little piece, part and fastener that you need in order to perform a proper clutch replacement on your 911. The kit goes hand-in-hand with our Pelican Parts Technical Article on Clutch Replacement. All the parts contained in the kit are either OEM or genuine Porsche parts. If you are spending the time and effort to pull your engine out of your car, you might as well make sure that you are replacing and fixing every piece that might need attention, while you have access to it. High Performance Clutch Packages

The stock clutch setup for the Porsche 911 is good for everyday street driving. However, if you are a weekend racer, or if you would like a little more performance out of your clutch, then you should consider upgrading to a more powerful clutch system.

SACHS Power Clutch

The next step in clutch upgrades. The SACHS Power Clutch is designed for 911 owners who both drive their car on the street, and race it on the autocross track on the weekend. The pressure plate is manufactured out of aluminum for lower rotating mass, and is also designed for increased clamping force. At only about $100 more than the stock kit, this is the Pelican Recommendation for clutch upgrades on the 1974-86 911. Kit includes pressure plate, clutch disc, and throw out bearing.

CenterForce Dual Friction Clutch Set

CenterForce clutches are well know for their performance characteristics. For Porsche 911 owners looking for even more performance, we recommend the CenterForce Dual Friction Clutch Set. This Pressure Plate / Clutch Disc combination can generate up to 90% more clamping capacity over the stock clutch setup. Use of the CenterForce clutch is recommended for cars modified to output higher horsepower & torque. The clutch setup mates with the stock flywheel and throw-out bearing, and features carbon composite materials that provide only the best in performance - even at high operating temperatures. To maintain consistency and increase performance, the Centerforce pressure plate and disc are sold as a matched pair. The disc is a spring-center unit similar to the stock unit which generates a stiff engagement, but not enough to knock your fillings out.
