Sunvisors |
| Many 911s are mysteriously missing sunvisors. Keep the sun out of your eyes, and on the road with a new pair of sunvisors. Also, replace your cracked sunvisor clips before the visor falls in your lap while powering through a hard corner. Note: The sunvisor pivot pin comes mounted in the clip, not the visor. All visors are black, and are the latest version available from Porsche (used on the 1989- 911 & C2/C4). Earlier styles are no longer available. These later style sunvisors have a slightly different sized mirror in them, and they also have a slight angle to their overall shape. However, these later sunvisors are a direct replacement for the early ones, and require no modifications to fit any of the 1974-89 cars. The new visors also come complete with new pivot brackets and clips. NOTE: There are some companies out there selling reproduction 911 sunvisors in the $50-$60 range. It is important to note that we have investigated these repro sunvisors, and have not found them to be manufactured up to our exacting standards. As a result, we do not carry them in this catalog. The repro sunvisors do not come with any pivot brackets or clips, and they also need to be modified to fit in most 911s. We recommend going with a newer-style 964 sunvisors, or even a good used set over these reproduction visors. |

Rear View Mirrors |
| Is your 911 rear view mirror cracked, broken, or missing? Replace it with a brand new one and make sure that you see the highway patrol officer before it's too late. The early mirrors were attached with a double-sided foam adhesive pad. The later style mirrors were glued to the windshield. If yours falls off, it's best to take a small bit of crazy glue and reattach it to the windshield. Use the glue sparingly. |
