Oxygen (O2) Sensors |
| The oxygen sensor actively measures the exhaust output from the engine in order to determine the proper mixture for the car. If you are having trouble adjusting the mixture on your car to proper levels, there is a high chance that you may have a faulty oxygen sensor. The oxygen sensor is located before the catalytic converter because the air/fuel mixture ratio cannot be accurately calculated after the exhaust gases have been processed through the CAT. |

Pre-Muffler By-Pass Pipes |
| Fabspeed Cat Bypass Pipe |
| Fabspeed Motorsports' Cat Bypass Pipe looks just like the factory version, but sells for half the price. The O2 sensor bung allows the 911 fuel injection system to automatically adjust mixture/idle/part throttle for maximum performance. • Fabspeed claims an increase of up to 11 horsepower • Simple bolt-on (and off) installation • Mirror-polished show car shine • Looks like a stock catalytic converter • Quieter and more durable than a mild steel straight pipe |

| Dansk Pre-Silencer |
| The Pre-Silencer, sometimes called a Euro Pre-Muffler, is similar to Dansk's Sport Cat, but without the ceramic catalyst insert (for off-road use only). Instead, it is baffled to tune the exhaust note to a pleasant hum. Special order product - may require a few extra days for delivery. |

Catalytic By-Pass Pipes |
| Replacing your catalytic converter with a CAT by-pass pipe yields an instant horsepower increase. Recommended for racing applications, the by-pass pipe replaces the constricting catalytic converter with a free-er flowing exhaust pipe. Available in black painted steel, or shiny stainless steel. Note that the use of these pipes is legal for off-road use only in most states. |

Catalytic Converters |
Car not passing smog anymore? Troubled with bad emissions? Perhaps you need a new catalytic converter. A clogged catalytic converter will reduce your car's power significantly. If you are unsure if yours is clogged, you can shine a flashlight into the exhaust ports, and see if you can view reflected light through the baffles of the CAT. New converters are not as expensive as you would think, and replacing them is much better for the environment than the use of a CAT bypass pipe.
The aftermarket CATs are manufactured here in the USA, and are about 1/2 the cost of the OEM converters. Both work in an identical manner, and should pass your car in smog checks with no problem. The 1978-79 911s can use the 1980-1989 converters, but they require that you plug the hole for the oxygen sensor. NOTE: Catalytic converters and test pipes listed DO NOT come with gaskets, these are shown below |
