Factory Late Model Carrera External Oil Cooler |
| Center-Mount 911 Oil Cooler Kit |
| Add a center-mounted oil cooler to 1965-89 911 for maximum cooling. This is a great solution for race cars and 3.6 liter conversions. For connection to existing brass oil lines in the front fender, either factory or finned oil lines. If your car has no external cooler now, you will need to purchase necessary lines and hoses. Fittings are high-flow factory-type 30mm throughout, no restrictive AN fittings or adapters are used. Don't settle for inferior solutions! Note: A suitable front bumper/valance is required, not included. STD-172 coolers require 26 inches of width in the front valance. Installer will need to fabricate mounting brackets based on valance and space requirements. For mounting in series with a fender-mount cooler you must substitute 1 90 degree hose end for 1 straight hose end. Call for details. Hose is cut-to-length based on final oil cooler mounting position and hose-ends crimped on. RS air duct is a highly recommended addition to this kit. |

Oil Tanks and Senders |
| Replace your rusty oil tank with a brand new one. Tanks are copper-plated steel, and painted black. Or replace a faulty oil-level sender and get a reading on your oil level. The only tanks available currently are the late-style Carrera oil tanks. These are a drop-in replacement for the earlier tanks, however, you need to purchase the late-style oil cap (see below) with the new tank. |

Crankcase Oil Pressure Relief Pistons |
| The 911 crankcase has two oil pressure relief pistons located deep within the recesses of the crankcase. These pistons control the oil pressure that flows through the engine. It's important that these spring & pistons are not worn out, otherwise your oil pressure within your engine may not be at it's proper operating value. |
