Crankcase Oil Pressure Relief Pistons

The 911 crankcase has two oil pressure relief pistons located deep within the recesses of the crankcase. These pistons control the oil pressure that flows through the engine. It's important that these spring & pistons are not worn out, otherwise your oil pressure within your engine may not be at it's proper operating value.
