Chain Tensioners and Hardware

Replace your chain tensioners with quality OEM tensioners from Pelican Parts. Cheap imitations are never worth the risk. When installing the standard chain tensioners you will need the later style wider chain sprocket supports, or a wheel spacer for proper operation.
In 1980, Porsche added extra support to the chain with chain wheel supports, thus reducing the load on the chain tensioners. Installing new supports along with the cam chain wheel will increase the life of your engine's timing chain system. Oil Return Tubes

These oil return tubes often return oil to the ground instead of your engine case. The tubes often get damaged underneath the car and begin to leak after years of service. Replacement is a relatively easy process. For more information, please see our Pelican Technical Article, Replacing your 911 Oil Return Tubes. Use new oil return tubes and seals on your new motor for the prevention of future oil leaks.

The aluminum versions are made in America, and are machined from aircraft aluminum bar stock in just two pieces - no glued or pressed-on ends like other brands that may be prone to leaking.
