| We recommended installing a high powered relay in order to safeguard against current overload and fuse blow-outs. Adding the relay guarantees that current is going directly to the headlamps. Recommended for upgrading to 100W bulbs - lower wattage bulbs do not necessarily need the high power relay. |

Headlight Relay Kit |
| This easy-to-install kit uses factory connections and mounting points. With the relay kit, the electrical current travels straight from the battery to the headlight circuit at the fuse box, greatly reducing the load on the headlight switch and the failure prone column switch. In addition, more power is supplied to the headlights for maximum light output. Fits 911 (1974-89). Maximum 100 watt bulbs recommended. |

Bosch H1 Halogen Headlamp Upgrade Kit |
| The Bosch H1 kit is similar to the H4, except that it has dual reflectors that allow for individual adjustment of both the high beams and low beams. The H1 assemblies use the same sized housing and a similar, but different lens. Internally, the H1 has an additional reflector for focusing the high beam. Original H1 kits are no longer available, however, replacement bulbs and lenses are indeed still available for replacement. |

| These replacement parts are for the standard 911 USA headlamp used from 1974-86. The sealed beams have Tungsten filaments that were required for all USA cars up until 1979. here is no H-designation for these lamps, they are just considered stock, OEM equipment. Their poor illumination quality make them the choice only for concours and restoration purists. An upgrade to either the H4 Hella lamp bulb or the European H4 Lamp Assemblies is a worthy investment for better visibility at night. |
