Odometer Gears |
The original VDO gauges used in Porsches use tiny plastic gears to drive the odometer display. Over time, some gear teeth break off, ultimately leaving you with a broken odometer. | The early 911s in this series shipped with a temperature gauge that had distinct numbered readings on it. For some reason, this was dropped with the later cars. 'Downgrade' to the earlier style gauge and gain the ability to read your engine temperature accurately. Adding this gauge half to your combo gauge is a simple process, but also requires you to replace your temp sender with the earlier style one. |
