BHP Performance Brake Pad Sets |
Introducing the XPS line of brake pads from BHP – a true dual-use performance pad applicable for either street or track usage. The practicality of these pads is due to the advanced XPS composite that provides for a high initial bite and maintains a near linear torque curve. Cold and elevated operating temperature performance is only within a 5% range, giving a predictable pedal feel and consistent stopping distances. See the test results for yourself!
The proprietary XPS formulation is a high friction composite with relatively low metallic content. This results in a lower thermal conductivity, which in turn, minimizes overheating of the brake fluid. The XPS formulation is also less destructive to brake discs in severe use, and is more tolerant to cross-drilling of discs than semi-metallic pads.
Brake noise is minimized with an anti-noise shim made from an advanced composite. These composite shims have proven to be the most effective shims available in dampening high frequency vibrations associated with brake squeal. The pads are finished with a Dupont silicone powder-coat that accommodates temperatures of up to 800 °F without degradation. Not only does this preserve its finished appearance, but also prevents corrosion of the backing plates throughout the whole life of the pad.
NOTE: It is recommended that these pads should be used with either freshly turned or brand new brake rotors to minimize the possibility of brake noise. |

Cool Carbon Performance Brake Pads  |
Cool Carbon Performance establishes the new reference in performance braking for street/track and racing formulations. Both Cool Carbon compounds have been developed at German R&D facilities and have been tested extensively on the German autobahn. Cool Carbon Performance brake pads deliver true undiluted performance.
The Street Performance/Track Tuned (S/T) compound is a higher friction level than OE, with much better torque and stopping capability. It is very stable, both cold and hot to temperatures exceeding 600 C (1112 F), due to a special "hollow" ceramic structure that exhibits excellent heat dissipation characteristics. Stainless steel noise shims, bonded to what is already a very quiet formula, ensure virtually no noise under all driving conditions. Improved pedal feel and significantly reduced dust can be expected.S/T compound features: excellent initial bite, consistent torque, stopping ability & temperature stability; very good fade resistance; long life, rotor friendly, low/no dust; virtually without noise; excellent for daily street use and with very good track performance.
NOTE: Pelican Parts recommends replacing both front and rears together due to the unique Cool Carbon formulation that increases in friction level with temperature. This will maintain the best overall front to rear brake balance.

Titanium Brake Cooling Shields |
| Repetitive stops from high speed can overheat normal brake components and cause brake fade. Brake fade from boiling brake fluid can result in a complete loss of brakes. If your high performance car suffers from a "soft" brake pedal from repeated use you are in danger of having a potentially catastrophic accident. Titanium has a low heat conductivity rating; about 1/3 that of stainless steel, 1/7 that of regular steel. Ti Brake Shields are aerospace-quality titanium alloy plates. The shields help retard heat transfer from the hot brakes to the brake fluid. Each shield installs easily between the brake pad and caliper piston. Sold per pair of wheels. |

Pagid Racing Brake Pad Sets |
| The Pagid Orange RS 4-4 compound has a very good fade resistance and a higher average friction value than the RS 4-2 (Blue). It is rotor friendly with predictable, non-aggressive friction behavior (stable torque). Fading resistance up to 560°C (1.050°F). It is a very good rear compound for Touring Car applications in combination with RS 14 front pads. Its main application is Porsche 911 racing. It is used on either Short Track or Long Distance; also for front and rear axles. It is also used on BMW Showroom Stock, all other Touring-Cars and Single-Seater up to F3. |

| The Pagid Black RS 14 compound is a medium high friction value ceramic type compound with very good modulation, high fade resistance, low heat conductivity, and a good wear rate up to a temperature of 650°C (1.200°F).
