Competition Transmission Mount Set
Set of 2 solid motor/transmission mounts for the Porsche 911. Mounting plates are laser cut from high strength steel, with lightening holes to reduce unwanted weight, these are then Tig welded to the spacer boss. The boss is tapered on the outside to remove material where it is not needed, making them very light and looking like something the factory RSR cars would have used. These mounts improve chassis rigidity by securely tying the engine and transmission assembly into the unibody. This is essential on a competition vehicle where control of suspension geometry is critical. Also great for high performance street applications if the increase in vibration is acceptable. Fits 911's 1965-89, the early cars before 71 use 2 of these mounts at the rear of the motor. On the pre 71 cars the transmission mounts are built into the transmission support, so some modification would be necessary to use these for the transmission. On the 71-89 cars these mounts are bolt on replacements for both the motor and transmission mounts.

WEVO Semi-Solid Mounts
The WEVO Semi-Solid Mount is the first non-solid aftermarket mount developed specifically for Porsche 911 applications (1965-89). Factory rubber mounts allow too much deflection, causing drivability to feel somewhat imprecise. Solid aftermarket mounts increase responsiveness by fixing the engine location, but the metal-to-metal contact between the chassis and the engine is almost too rigid - which could ultimately affect the reliability of the vehicle.

Instead of compliant rubber or solid metal, the WEVO SS Engine Mounts utilize special elastomeric pillows to absorb vibration while minimizing drivetrain deflection. This exclusive design is thus the best of both worlds - providing a near-rigid engine mounting system while maintaining a quiet and comfortable ride. The “Black” Pillows are 15 points softer on the Shore “A” scale for durometer readings than the original "Blue" Pillows. The Black pillows function in the same way as the Blue pillows – although they allow slightly more deflection under similar loads – the advantage is lower noise transfer through the SS mount module.

Black pillows are recommended for street use or occasional track use. For pure track work, Blue pillows are recommended. Blue and Black pillows can also be mixed in any combination – including mixing them within a single mount body. This provides you with the flexibility to suit your exact needs.

Poly-Graphite Engine/Transmission Mount Inserts
Now you don't have to completely replace your factory motor mounts to maximize performance. These poly-graphite motor mount inserts will do the trick! Constructed using an 88 DRM compound, the poly-graphite provides a more rigid union between the chassis and drivetrain while allowing enough compliance for a comfortable ride. All you need to do is press out the old rubber from the mount housings, and sandwich in these new poly inserts!

NOTE: Kit contains bushings ONLY - housings and bolt sleeves are not included. One kit covers two (2) mounts.

WEVO Bearing Retainer Plate

The WEVO XT-032 Bearing Retainer is a logical addition to any 915 transmission upgrade.

The thrust loads from the Pinion gear and the helical cut ratio gears are accommodated by the bearing retainer plate. The Original Equipment uses two separate steel retainers that offer little to support or harness the pair of bearings.

Our Windrush version is made from an aerospace stainless steel alloy that has thermal expansion properties more closely matched to the aluminum or magnesium final drive casing. The XT-032 captures the two thrust bearings together – accurately maintaining the designed shaft spacing and mimicking the packaging in the 930 transmission and G-50 transmissions.

The XT-032 is designed and machined for minimum weight – being lighter than the two Original Equipment pieces and saves almost ½ pound over other less expensive aftermarket bearing retaining plates.

Suits all 915 transmissions 1972 through 1986
