Because the steering rack can be moved only a limited amount, the steering geometry cannot be fully corrected with rack spacers. Now we have the solution. Tie rod angularity is corrected with this kit. Using precision quality spherical rod ends, steering wheel ‘kick back’ is eliminated, and accurate road/track feedback is restored. The kit effectively lowers the mounting point for the tie rods so that the tie rods maintain their alignment parallel to the ground. Bolt-on kit needs no machining. The Basic kit is designed for use with 911 Turbo tie rods. If you have already converted your 911 or 914 to Turbo tie rods, then select the Basic Bump Steer kit.
