Hood & Decklid Shocks

Are you shocked when your front hood or engine lid smacks you on the head? Then you need new hood shocks. Choose from our OEM replacement shocks, or a newer heavier duty style. Or, if you've added a wing or tail to your rear decklid, install a second hood shock with our Dual Rear Shock Kit.

Ultimate Strut

Ultimate Strut replaces the factory-type gas struts that tend to wear out. The easy-to-install, carbon fiber and aluminum rod end support kit is elegant, compact, won't wear out like gas struts and lighter than a mini IPOD. Drilling required for rear strut.

These struts can support about 25 pounds. Do not try to support more than this weight, as it may bend too much - resulting in injury.

Rubber Tie-Downs

To be sure your hood doesn't pop open during spirited driving, use these rubber tie-downs -- just like racers used back in the day. Available for both the front hood and the rear decklid. These stainless steel and polymer tie downs attach to the front bumper just inboard of the horn grilles, or between the rear deck lid and license plate panel on the rear. Requires drilling to install, using screws or pop rivets (not included). Sold per pair.
