Muffler Gaskets |
| These are the gaskets that connect the muffler to the heat exchanger. Replace them whenever you remove the muffler and they look tired. Do not use the cheesy paper gaskets that sometimes come with muffler kits. These gaskets are the real thing with metal reinforced ends. |

The dual inlet and dual outlet design optimizes flow to reduce back-pressure for noticeable performance gains. The satin black painted aluminized steel and dual 50mm center tailpipes are not just all business, but also all pleasure.
Install it onto your 1974 (or earlier) exhaust, SSI heat exchangers, headers, or any other performance exhaust - note that a dual pipe system is required. For cars with impact bumpers, note removal or modification of the lower rear valance panel is necessary for fitment. |

M&K Exhaust Stainless Steel Mufflers |
M&K EXHAUST manufactures hand-crafted stainless steel mufflers for a continuously growing line of Porsche models. They are the only Porsche exhaust system manufacturer to use 321 stainless steel - which is superior to the typical 304 stainless in integrity after heat cycling and is more resistant to the acidic byproducts of combustion.
The specialized design of the M&K Exhaust mufflers creates a scavenge within the shell of the muffler to draw the exhaust gases out of the engine as quickly as possible. Their mufflers are also the lightest on the market, weighing only about 14 lbs. That's about 10-15 lbs less than the OEM muffler! This weight reduction at the tail end of the car improves weight distribution between the front and rear axles.
Mufflers in standard, unfinished stainless steel are readily available in a variety of styles. Dual outlet versions may require modification of the rear bumper valance for proper fitment. Optional finishes like polished or brushed may take an additional 3 weeks for delivery.
