| Thermostat Saver |
| If you have recently removed the oil lines from your thermostat, you may have found that the threads that attach the oil line to your thermostat have been removed with the oil line! Don't despair, our 'thermostat saver' is a small cap that that you can reattach to the thermostat and then attach the oil lines. No need to purchase a new thermostat because the steel lines have gummed up the soft aluminum threads. Simply install the thermostat saver with a bit of Loctite, and you should now be able to attach and remove oil lines without any fears. |

| Elephant Racing Tube Nut Replacement |
| It's a common problem when removing oil lines from the external thermostat. The aluminum thermostat threads become fused to the steel tube nut that secures the oil lines. If you get enough leverage to force the nut free, it takes the aluminum threads along with it - destroying the expensive thermostat and the oil line. Elephant Racing has the solution; we are manufacturing a 30mm tube nut replacement kit that let's you save thermostats and oil lines. If your oil lines won't come free from the thermostat, use a cut-off wheel to slit the side of the tube nut. You can then break the nut free using a cold chisel. This technique sacrifices the tube nut to save the expensive thermostat. You then use our kit to replace the tube nut that was cut off. Both the oil line and the thermostat are saved. The kit provides a 2-piece tube nut. The threaded nut fits over the end of the tube and is slipped on first. Then a spring lock ring is then slipped on. The spring lock ring cinches down on the tube, preventing the nut from coming off. |

Elephant Racing Finned Oil Lines |
Elephant Racing Finned Oil Lines hit the target with this innovative approach to keeping the temp down. Every warm day, I can still hear Bruce Anderson statement "240° F is hot, 250° F is too damn hot." If your 911 oil runs hot or you need to replace a leaking or crushed OEM oil line, Elephant Racing has a great solution.
These OEM style finned oil lines directly replace the factory lines that connect the external thermostat to the front fender mounted oil cooler. These oil lines have cooling fins that are formed directly on the surface, a big advantage over OEM lines. The fins yield a four-fold increase in heat-dissipating surface area. The combined length of two lines is about 17 feet and with fins they become a giant oil cooler.
A true bolt-in** replacement that connects directly to the factory fittings, they can be used in combination with factory or aftermarket fender and valance mounted coolers. Elephant Racing oil lines are a simple, no compromise way to bring temperatures down. The Elephant Racing Finned Oil lines offer, Substantial temperature reduction, Easy bolt-on installation, Needs no duct work, Sits in air stream under car, Stock appearance and are Light weight. Brass construction for corrosion resistance and full-flow high-quality fittings make Elephant Racing oil lines the choice solution.
The lines are formed perfectly - just like OEM. Fits 1965-1989 911s with 1974-1989 style factory external thermostat - **one oversized hose clamp may be necessary for installation. Other style thermostats may require adapters and/or hoses for connection. 1972 911s have a special version of the finned oil lines and require custom fabrication of flexible hoses to connect to the thermostat. Make sure you have the correct oil line wrenches for the job too. The 12 point design will not slip off or round fittings like open-end wrenches can do. |

Crankcase Oil Pressure Relief Pistons |
| The 911 crankcase has two oil pressure relief pistons located deep within the recesses of the crankcase. These pistons control the oil pressure that flows through the engine. It's important that these spring & pistons are not worn out, otherwise your oil pressure within your engine may not be at it's proper operating value. |
