Starters |
| The 911 starter is sometimes a troublesome beast. Before replacing your starter, make sure that you read the Technical Article by James K. Thorusen about Starter System Troubleshooting. If you are still having trouble turning over your 911 motor, or a high compression race engine, then try a high-torque starter motor. The early cars can use the SR-68X model as a upgrade, as it is a heavier-duty starter. Core charge may apply. (currently $25.00 on SR-17X, and $85.00 on SR-68X, subject to change) |

Hot Start Relay Kit |
| Get that hot date off to the right start; don't get stranded by your poor starting system. Bypass the troublesome ignition switch and install a hot start relay that will send current directly to the starter. This problem is sometimes caused by breakdowns in the 911 wiring which cause the resistance in the system to increase. Before installing the hot start relay, be sure to check out the Technical Article by James K. Thorusen about Starter System Troubleshooting. |
