	The original Porsche Big Red brake system made big, shiny red calipers synonomous with ultimate braking performance on the 993 Turbo. For quite some time, kits were made available to adapt Big Reds to earlier 911s, but now, they have been improved once more. Brembo's new line of GTP brake upgrades are completely re-engineered systems for earlier model 911s that maximize stopping power and improve overall balance. The Brembo calipers included are lighter and more rigid than the original Big Red design, thus reducing unsprung mass, allows for higher clamping forces and provides incredibly consistent pedal response. The front rotor is a 2-piece assembly with a lightweight billet aluminum hat that both saves additional weight and shields the hub from excessive heat buildup. The rear rotor is a single piece design with a Brembo-exclusive drum extension that allows proper functionality of the stock parking brake mechanism. Additionally, the GTP kits include all mounting hardware, stainless steel braided brake lines, and high performance brake pads. NOTE: Will fit into 17" wheels or larger. Caliper color should be specified when ordering. Front and rear sets sold separately. NOTE: These kits require your vehicle to have strut assemblies with 3.5" bolt spacing between the caliper mount holes. This distance should be measured for verification or you can also check to see if your brake pads are 78mm long to identify the "S" or "A" calipers that utilize this spacing.
