Caliper Rebuild Kits  |
For those up to the task, we offer front and rear caliper rebuilding kits. Be sure to take a close look at our Pelican Technical Article on 911 Caliper Rebuilding for the exact procedure on how to perform the rebuild yourself. One kit required per caliper.
Please note: Porsche does not recommend splitting the calipers for rebuilding. Due to this, the caliper halve seals are not included in these factory caliper rebuild kits.

| Caliper Rebuild Grease |
| Brake calipers can operate at greater than 1000 degrees Fahrenheit. When rebuilding your calipers, make sure that you use specially formulated grease that will not break down under the stress of the braking system. Place the grease on the side of the caliper away from the pads, to avoid having the grease be a collector of brake dust. Also helps to avoid caliper sticking, seizure, and rust when the car is sitting for long periods of time (winter storage). Brand may vary. |

| Aluminum S Caliper Pistons |
| PMB Performance's solution to the S caliper piston is to borrow the metallurgy technology used in every amazing caliper since the 917 -- aluminum pistons. Avoid the problems inherent with dis-similar metals. Porsche used aluminum pistons in the 930, 951, and 908. Why not the S caliper? The coating process was the key component. PMB claims that the DuroAno® coating makes these aluminum pistons harder and more durable than the original or stainless counterparts. They also weigh only half as much as the stock pistons! |
