Shift Fork Jig |
| The shift fork jigs are used to align the forks during a transmission rebuild. It's not recommended that you attempt a rebuild of your transmission without the proper jig. If you assemble the transmission without using these jigs, then you may find that you may have difficulty shifting through gears later on. |

Pulley Wrench Tools |
| Need to tighten that loose fan Belt? don't use a screwdriver to hold the pulley - get the correct tool for the job! Keep in mind that correct fan belt attachment is essential to keep your engine running cool. It is nearly impossible to obtain the correct tension on the fan belt pulley without this tool. Before you purchase one from us though, make sure that you check the factory tool kit that came with the car - there should be one in there. Important Tip: The pulley and fan belt must use six shims at all times, either on the inside or the outside. Make sure that you place the extra shims on the outside. If you don't, then the nut will bottom out and the fan belt will not tighten properly, no matter how hard you try. |

Ball Joint Tools |
| The large castellated nut that secures the ball joint to the A-arm (901-341-425-00) should be removed either with a chisel or an impact hammer due to the incredible amount of force necessary to break it free. This will normally render the old nut useless, and require it to be replaced along with the ball joint. This nut also requires a special tool for installation since it needs to be properly torqued to a whopping 184 ft-lbs. This specially made socket uses a 1/2" drive and is the only tool for the job. |

Allen Head Tools |
| Removing your 911 heads or heat exchangers can be very difficult without the correct tools for the job. With these extra long Allen extensions, those nuts can't hide. The 10mm tool is used for removing and tightening the head studs on the 911 motor. The 8mm tool is used to remove and tighten the 911 heat exchanger nuts. |

CV Bolt Removal Tool |
Avoid stripping your bolt heads and spending wasted hours cutting and grinding them off by using this special tool to easily remove those pesky CV joint bolts. This tool is for use with 12-point star-shaped bolts only. Please make sure to check your bolts before ordering. It's common for previous owners to replace the 12-point star shaped bolts with more standard allen head bolts instead. Although the 12-point pattern allows you to get a better grip on the bolts (with the correct tool), and apply the high torque that the bolts require, previous owners may have stripped out these bolt heads by attempting to use a torx or hex driver instead of the proper tool. A word of caution here - these other tools MAY work, but if they strip the bolt head, then you are in for an entire afternoon of grinding it off the next time it's replaced.
TIP: Spray the bolts down with WD-40 or Liquid Wrench first to loosen the dirt and debris in the bolt head, then scrape out any dirt that may be left. With the socket on a 6" extension, slip the tool into the bolt head and give it a gentle rap on the end with a mallet to seat it firmly. Following this simple procedure will hopefully avoid you from stripping any CV bolts. |
