Connecting Rod Bushings |
Whenever you go through the block, you always replace connecting rod bushings. Reusing the old ones runs the risk of bushing failure and subsequent engine damage.
NOTE: Professional installation is highly recommended for these bushings. They require an arbor press for insertion, and also need oil passages to be machined into them prior to installation. |

Crankshaft |
| Always make sure to use the correct sized bearings with a new crankshaft, and use a good assembly lube grease when installing to prevent the bearings from locking up during break-in. |
