Crankshaft Main Bearing Sets

When doing a rebuild, always use new main bearings and use a good assembly lube, also, remember to always prime the engine to full oil pressure before starting the engine for the first time. Note: Limited availability on some bearing sets.

Connecting Rod Bearing Set

It's a good idea during a re-build to have your connecting rods balanced by a reputable machine shop to ensure an even-weighted rotating mass and greater engine longevity. Note: As 356A rod bearings are no longer available, the use of the later bearings may require machining a notch into the opposite side of the rod, or updating to the later connecting rods.
