Using pharmaceutical grade recyclable polystyrene, the Zymöl container is a 21st century update of the canning jar.
The high-strength cap was designed to capture just enough air so that once the container is closed, a layer of wax will form on the surface of the Zymöl ingredients creating enzyme gases.
The Neoprene O-ring first allows the enzyme gases to escape during the self-vacuuming process. This newly created seal prevents the entry of outside air due to increased external air pressure.
The size, the shape and the weight of the base were designed for ease of handling, convenient long term storage and maximum protection of the ingredients since rust is impossible.
